I am a Southern born and bred thirty-something; some might even call me a Southern Belle. 

I work at a public library by day and cuddle on the couch with my baby by night.
I can often be found binge watching Netflix, blogging, working on my novel, or reading.

I have been reading for as long as I can remember. 

Books have always been a way for me to experience a life different than my own; I'm also a sucker for books with happy endings too! 

I got my own happy ending in December of 2010 when I married my college sweetheart.

Now, when I have spare time, I read and constantly justify to my husband that crying because of a book is completely normal.

She reads: all day long, if she can get away with it

She loves: her family & friends, her cat Mini Meow, coffee, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cheetah/leopard print, Broadway, Disney Princesses, book hangovers, Netflix, sunshine, the beach, laughing, writing, running

She can't go a day without: coffee, her iPhone, smiling, listening to music, reading

She thinks: it's okay to judge a book by its cover
